The HighRoad Riders believe in taking the high road in every area of our lives, including helping others whose lives have taken some unexpected twists and turns causing a breakdown.
The Biker's Code states: "When a brother or sister is broken down on the side of the road, always stop to help them." Even moral support, if that's all you can give, is better than riding on by.
As bikers who have chosen to follow Christ, we understand that God asks us to hold to the same code towards all people, not just bikers, when they are experiencing breakdowns in their lives.
One way HighRoad does this is by serving together at Willow Creek’s Care Center on the 4th Tuesday evening of each month. We are in agreement with the Care Center’s Mission and Core Values as listed on their Webpage. Click here to learn more about the Care Center at Willow Creek Community Church. If you're interested in serving with us in the Care Center or in joining HighRoad as we serve in other ways, contact Evan or Mary Gundlach, a.k.a. Elf and Scrappy, at firstname.lastname@example.org
We invite you to join us and lend a hand to our brothers and sisters in all walks of life who need some help to get up and running again.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
